91pts Wine Enthusiast
Crisp, mouthwatering notes of wild strawberry and black currant extend from nose to finish in this full-bodied yet briskly balanced Grenache-based blend of Cinsault and Syrah. A deep salmon pink in hue, it’s a penetrating, intensely fruity rosé that’s concentrated enough to drink well past the summer and into the autumn and winter months.
90pts Vivous
Bright orange-pink. Spice-accented aromas of fresh red berries and citrus fruits, along with building floral and herb nuances. Shows good depth to its juicy raspberry and tangerine flavors, which tighten up and turn spicier with air. Clings very nicely on the finish, which strongly echoes the floral and red fruit notes.
Winemaker Notes
Guigal Cotes du Rhone Rose is a clear, brilliant and fresh appearance. Fresh with an expressive nose of red fruits and citrus. Notes of raspberry and redcurrant. On the palate, fruity, fine and round. A well-balanced and elegant wine.
