An introduction to Lapostolle” is how winemaker Andrea León describes this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with 32% Syrah, Carmenère, Merlot and Grenache. Well-priced, ripe and smooth, with chocolate and vanilla sweetness, layers of plush, slightly jammy fig and Asian spice flavours and a firm, structured finish.

The 2020 Red Blend Apalta is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, 8% Carménère, 8% Merlot and 1% Grenache from Apalta, Colchagua, 40% aged in used barrels. Mild purple in color. The attractive nose offers plum, spice and hints of pepper, while in the mouth, this is juicy with active, fine-grained tannins, medium body and slightly compact palate.
Winemaker Notes
Intense and deep red color with violet edges; Elegant, fine and well balanced nose with black fruits such as blackberry and black spicy aromas; Palate has a silky attack followed by red and black fruit, coffee and chocolate flavors with good tannins delivering a very good structure.
